rulesPlayer is a clean, easy-to-use MPlayer GUI front-end for Windows. Contains almost all the codecs you need to watch any movie or hear any sound file. Supports most popular media files AVI, 3gp, ASF, FLV, Matroska, MOV QuickTime, MP4, NUT, Ogg, OGM, RealMedia plus others supported by native XAnim, and Win32 DLL codecs. You can watch Video CDs, SVCD, DVD, 3ivx, DivX 3/4/5 and even watch video files while you are downloading them! rulesPlayer also has an onscreen display (OSD) for status info, nice antialiased shaded subtitles and visual feedback for keyboard controls. European/ISO 8859-1,2 (Hungarian, English, Czech, etc), Cyrillic and Korean fonts are supported along with 12 subtitle formats MicroDVD, SubRip, OGM, SubViewer, Sami, VPlayer, RT, SSA, AQTitle, JACOsub, PJS and our own: MPsub). DVD subtitles SPU streams, VOBsub and Closed Captions are supported as well. The program can play almost any format seamlessly, unfortunately it doesn't support Aero transparency effect or frame transparency under Windows 7.

rulesPlayer installation notes: The Download link (rulessetup.exe) will download a small installer file to your desktop. Remain online and double-click the installer to proceed with the actual 21 MB download.
