FLAC Frontend 2013 v2.1

FLAC Frontend converts FLAC to WAV and encode WAV to FLAC file format. FLAC frontend is a very simple program that just calls the 'real' FLAC encoder, which is command line based. The program makes it incredibly easy to convert to FLAC because you just have to drag and drop files into the interface. Any directories will automatically be searched (recursively) for .flac, .ogg, .oga and .wav files. Free Lossless Audio Codec (FLAC) is a lossless audio format, which means it saves original CD quality when you create FLAC files directly from an audio CD. The FLAC format reduces the original file size by roughly 30-60% with no loss of quality, hence FLAC is a lossless format. FLAC Frontend was originally made by w.speek, but hasn't been updated since early 2003. It didn't work well in Windows Vista or later because it wasn't made with UAC in mind. This (full) remake fixes most issues and incorporates a few new FLAC functions.
