Halite 0.4.4.1333

Halite (named after the mineral) is a C++ BitTorrent client based on the excellent libtorrent library from Rasterbar Software. While not a heavyweight in the bells & whistles category, Halite is a functional BitTorrent client. The program also relies heavily on the Boost libraries. What makes Halite stand out is its remote control interface allowing you to monitor and control the program from a mobile phone. Most of the features present in other BitTorrent clients are present in Halite, including bandwidth prioritization, scheduling, Super-seeding, Trackerless torrents and Protocol Encryption. Additionally, Halite supports Magnet URI torrents, Disk cache, µTorrent style multi-tracker announcing, IP filtering with eMule style ipfilter.dat import, ability to create torrent files, Webseeds, managed torrent queue system and the ability to create torrent files. Halite was written with efficiency in mind. Unlike many torrent clients, it does not hog valuable system resources.
