FlashGet is a full featured download accelerator manager that integrates with Google Chrome, Firefox, IE and other web browsers. It enables you to pause and resume downloads, save them for later and sort them into categories. FlashGet features include HTTP, HTTPS, MMS, RTSP, FTP, BitTorrent, eMule support, ability to split files into up to 10 parts, download scheduler, drop basket, batch downloads, FLV video grabber, clipboard monitoring, proxy support and more. Because FlashGet uses some particular code (Browser Helper Object aka BHO integration) it may be seen as a virus by some security software. It is just a false positive. Nothing else.

FlashGet Classic version 1.73 Build 128 comes without features like the video download plugin and support for BitTorrent/eMule. It is a simply but powerful download manager developed to increase your download speed.
