WECP Codec Repair Tool is a small utility to scan, remove and repair codec errors, check missing video and audio codecs, uninstall corrupt video codecs, clean up the registry from bad video codecs, detect invalid codec entries, remove unused media extensions. This handy tool will detect and remove broken codecs and bad DirectShow filters that for any reason whatsoever have an error or do not work, clean up all the codecs/filters left behind by codec packs.
Codec Repair Tool works only with Windows old 32-bit systems, for Windows 10 64-bit we recommend Codec Tweak Tool, an advanced video and audio troubleshooting and cleanup utility. If broken codecs aren't found, this tool won't display anything, so don't worry; it means your system is clean and error free!
